اسلام میں جانوروں پر رحم دلی ایک نہایت اہم تعلیم ہے جو ہمیں پیارے نبی حضرت محمد ﷺ کی سیرت سے ملتی ہے۔ ایک خوبصورت واقعہ اس بارے میں مشہور ہے۔
🌤️ کہانی کا آغاز
ایک دن مدینہ منورہ کی گرمی میں، نبی کریم ﷺ اپنے گھر کے قریب تشریف فرما تھے۔ اچانک انہوں نے دیکھا کہ ایک چھوٹی سی بلی ان کے قریب آ رہی ہے۔ وہ بلی تھکی ہوئی اور پیاسی لگ رہی تھی، اس کی آواز مدھم تھی جیسے وہ مدد مانگ رہی ہو۔
نبی کریم ﷺ فوراً گھر کے اندر تشریف لے گئے اور ایک پیالے میں پانی بھر کر باہر لائے۔ انہوں نے نہایت نرمی سے وہ پیالہ بلی کے سامنے رکھا۔ بلی نے سونگھ کر پانی پیا، اور خوشی سے پُر ہو کر پیٹ بھر کے پانی پیا۔ پھر وہ خوشی سے گُر گُر کرنے لگی۔
حضور ﷺ نے اپنے صحابہ کرام سے فرمایا:
“جانوروں پر رحم کرنا بھی صدقہ ہے۔”
یہ بات صحابہ کے دلوں پر اثر کر گئی۔ انہوں نے سیکھا کہ صرف انسانوں پر ہی نہیں، بلکہ اللہ کی ہر مخلوق پر رحم کرنا ایمان کا حصہ ہے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ قرآن میں فرماتے ہیں:
“زمین پر چلنے والا کوئی جانور اور اپنے پروں سے اڑنے والا کوئی پرندہ ایسا نہیں جو تمہاری ہی طرح کی جماعتیں نہ ہوں۔”
(سورۃ الانعام، آیت 38)
نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں ہر جاندار کے ساتھ محبت اور احترام سے پیش آنے کی تعلیم دی۔ آپ ﷺ نے جانوروں کو بھوکا رکھنے، ان پر بوجھ ڈالنے یا انہیں بے وجہ مارنے سے سختی سے منع فرمایا۔

اگر کوئی جانور پیاسا یا بھوکا نظر آئے تو پانی یا کھانا دیں۔
